Maths place  Value Reflection Week 9 - To go on Blog

Thinking about my learning I have improved on Digit in whole numbers because I understand it better

The reasons for my improvement have been going to the workshops with Mrk  and Mrs

This could have been Mathletics and watching videos from the web site

The parts I really enjoyed doing Groups of numbers within numbers
The parts that could be better were understanding value in a decimal numbers

My Weekly Reflection for Week 8

What I learned this week was: I learnt how to spell long I sounds and how to round.

In Maths I learnt how to do groups of numbers within numbers

In Spelling I learnt how to spell the long I sounds like kaleidoscope

Thinking about our value of responsibility, this is how I’ve been responsible this week.i have taken responsibility for my clothing

My next steps are to do more mathletics

My person who I think has been the most responsible this week is Ava because she all was responsible for her belongings

My Maths Reflection on Learning in Statistics

What I’ve got better at or improved upon.

I now know I’m better at understanding what a bar graph is and how to draw one accurately. I also have learnt about probability and that some events are more likely to occur or happen than others.

What I still need to work on:

While we looked diagram  I still need to do more work on that. I know how to read them but find it difficult to plot the points.

What I enjoyed and what could be better.

I really enjoyed the Kahoots since they were fun plus playing fill em up Steve.

cyber safety

Respect

Responsibility

I understand that sometimes it may be better to communicate with people in person rather than digitally.

I think it's important that when I feel unsafe online I must tell an adult at school or at home.
I understand that my parents and teachers trust me to make good decisions online that help me learn and build respect among my peers.

I don’t share my password for my email account with anyone, even my friends. I always log off and return my device to the charging areas when I have finished. I never put my personal information online - You never know who might be able to access it.

If you bring your own device to school, use it in the ways, and at the times that your teacher says it is okay to.

I only use my Makauri gmail account at school.

Perseverance

Caring

I will make mistakes online but I will use them as learning experiences to move forward.

My blog comments and online feedback comments are always positive. They also challenge people to do better.
My blog posts are always the best they can be since I am proud of what I share online.

My poem

On Friday I wrote a poem about a connection to us. I wrote about a Kereru here it is.

  THE KERERU

As it soars through the air as fast as a cheetah the Kereru flys.

White and green glittering blue eyes.as the kereru lands it spots a slimy worm that just popped out of the black soggy ground then the kereru took one step then another step it got the worm.

The worm is as slimy as a piece of soap.

The beak is as orange as a road cone.

I love kereru.
